Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Bowens mount?

Bowens mount is the most common bayonet fitting for studio strobes and COB LED lights. Check your light has a Bowens mount before choosing a Bowens softbox.

Lantern vs softbox – which should I choose?

A lantern spreads soft light in every direction, great for interviews and room fill. A softbox is more directional with less spill. Read globe lantern vs traditional softboxes.

What does a honeycomb grid do?

A grid narrows the beam, reduces light spill onto the background and adds contrast.

What warranty do Hridz softboxes have?

All products are backed by a 12-month Hridz warranty against manufacturing defects.
